On the occasion of the last Tech Day 60 dedicated to online reputation ! and which featured the participation of Cristina Gaona (@CrisGaona) and Óscar del Santo (@OscadDS)! I have decided to give you some of the key points discussed at such an interesting monthly event.
Why is reputation management important?
Reputation has always been tremendously important ! especially in our closest circles of influence ! but with the emergence of online media and social networks ! it has become essential to correctly manage how we appear on the Internet when someone searches for us on Google ! since the majority of information searches in Spain are carried out from this powerful search engine .
We must Online Reputation distinguish between
the online reputation of individuals and organizations ! but we must bear in mind that proper management of both is important! since in many cases they are interrelated ! for luxembourg phone number library example! in the case of a self-employed person who has a business ! a high reputation of his business will have a positive impact on his personal reputation and vice versa! but the same can occur if it is negative .
In most cases when we google our name how did the start of the challenge go we will find our profiles on different social networks ! on LinkedIn! Facebook or Twitter ! if we have a personal blog ! presentations shared through SlideShare or Prezi! but unpleasant entries may also appear such as traffic fines! criticisms or negative comments …
In many cases! to properly manage what we want to appear on our first page of Google we must generate satisfactory content that is indexed and that is what we want to show to those who search for us . For example! our Cuvitt ! our Google+ profile ! profiles on Foursquare ! Xing or About me …
Both online and offline reputations
are hard to build! but they’re very easy to lose in a crisis that isn’t managed properly. Another consideration is that online actions affect offline life and vice versa! both ao lists for better and for worse .
Often! when a business’s online reputation fails ! many other aspects of the company also fail : marketing ! economic-financial ! and operational aspects . Reputation will always be another aspect of a business that must be managed daily and carefully! as it is an intangible asset of incalculable value .
