Make a clear choice

A roadmap has been developed for 2015 to make collaboration possible step by step. Not only for our own employees; soon also for collaboration with people outside the organization. Looking back on the past 2.5 years, there are various factors that have contributed to the success of TeamKPN. I will give 6 tips here. And I will already reveal: the last one is the best.

Tip 1: one platform for everyone

Many organisations – including us in the past – have different platforms for communication,  norway phone number libraryknowledge sharing and collaboration. ‘Where do I need to be for what?’ is a frequently heard question. Not to mention all the different login codes. We opted for one platform for everyone. This means, in addition to this centralisation: everyone has access, always and everywhere, via any device. Tip 2: throw everything open

Make everything on the platform visible to everyone and automatically make employees members of the groups relevant to them, such as a department group. This ensures an open, transparent culture. TeamKPN is built according to a group structure. Groups are connected to organizational units. In addition, there are also theme groups, for example. Are you a member of a group? Then you can post something. Not a member? Then you can see everything. Because ‘everyone is allowed to know everything about each other’. Make a clear choice

Make a conscious choice for an implementation strategy. Will you switch over in one go, in phases or in another way? We have chosen for one moment. On 1 January 2012, we switched off all old platforms. That was radical, but making a clear choice ultimately works.
